Calling all Readers!  Firstly, thank you for all your reading at Masses throughout the year. I would like to draw up the Reading Rota for the Christmas period. Please would you let me know your availability on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day? The children read at the early Mass on Christmas Eve, but we need people to read at the   10.00pm Christmas Eve Mass, and the 9.00am and 11.00am Masses on Christmas Day. Please would you let me know your availability by Saturday 16th December, so that I can put the list up on Sunday 17th? Email is best: Phone: 01628 471015...please leave a message if I'm not in.   Thank you to those who have already launched a pre-emptive strike and let me know when you can help!  Marie Lou

Young people in year 8 and above who wish to be confirmed when the bishop comes next year should write me a short note asking to join the programme of preparation and giving their contact details and details of their baptism. The sessions begin in the Pugin Rooms from 4.30 – 5.30pm on Saturdays starting on March 17th 2018.    Contact Penny Bedingfield on Marlow 486579 for more details

Dear Parishioners at St Peter’s    Last year our Christmas appeal for the Homeless and Disadvantaged in London was a great success.  We collected enough clothes and toiletries to enable us to keep distributing them on our weekly runs all the way through until the end of April.

They were very much appreciated so we have decided to make the same appeal this year. Could you, therefore, put in a simple plastic supermarket bag any items (not Christmas wrapped) from the following list. They are listed in order of priority and usefulness:

1.Underpants ( medium)           2.  Socks   3.  Woolly hats    4.  Scarves    5.  Gloves

1.Shower gel    2.  Deodorant (roll 0n preferred)  3.  Razors and Shaving Gel   4.  Toothpaste/Toobrushes

You might, for instance, simply donate just socks, or just shower gel, or any mixture of the items listed as all items will be individually distributed. Whatever you have included in your Christmas bags will be given directly to the homeless at Christmas and every week afterwards for as long as our stocks last.

Please, therefore, donate a Christmas bag for the Homeless on Monday, 11th December and bring it along to the Pugin rooms as usual. A member of the London Run will be there between 1pm and 6pm to accept it with our thanks. Thank you for your help.
