CHILDREN’  S LITURGY    Our children’s liturgy is going strong! Parents and all ages of children welcome, parents to join for babies and toddlers. Volunteers DBS checked. Even if you’re running a few minutes late and we already went over to the Pugin Rooms, not to worry, you are still very welcome to drop off your children at the Old Hall – just across the church in the room to the right. Please also join us for a coffee/tea/juice after mass in the New Hall where we can show parents what we learned this week and enrich our community spirit! We are still looking for volunteers to lead or support, teens also welcome, would look good on university or job application! Contact: Madeline via the parish email or 07896718094 if interested.

Would you like to read at Mass?  The numbers in our Reading Teams have reduced over the last couple of years, and it would be good to build them all up again. Do YOU think you would like to read at Mass? Please contact me on jmlpk@hotmail.co.uk for further details. Thank you.  Marie Lou Stephenson, Parish Co-Ordinator for Readers

THE SVP- TURNING CONCERN INTO ACTION

The St Vincent De Paul Society meets from 8.00pm – 9.00p.m. every Monday evening in the Pugin Rooms. The purpose of this group is to befriend our local sick and lonely community members, providing company and a listening ear, especially important in the winter months. They visit them in their homes, in hospital and in care homes on a regular basis and offer additional practical support. As we visit people in their homes we have strict safeguarding policies and procedures and all visiting members must hold a DBS certificate. New members are always welcome! Come along to the Monday meeting to find out how you can help and be a part of this wonderful ministry. https://www.svp.org.uk/
