LONDON HOMELESS RUN COLLECTION The Christmas collection for those in need will take place on Tuesday 11th December from 1pm-6pm in the Pugin Rooms. At this time please donate and drop off any new items of underwear, socks, hats, gloves, scarves, and all toiletry items such as shower gel, shampoo, deodorant, shave gel, razors, toothbrushes, and toothpaste. Any donations always will be most gratefully received. – Sally and the London Run Team

Summer’s come and gone and winter is back, cold, wet and windy, but one thing never changes: tea and coffee being served in the New Hall of the Pugin Rooms after Sunday’s 11:00 mass! So why don’t you come and join us and get to know your fellow parishioners a little better before you go home. All donations gratefully accepted, please be as generous as you can, remember tea, coffee, and milk as they say don’t grow on trees! This week we gave Father Michael £150. Have a very happy Christmas and a peaceful New Year.

A CELEBRATION to commemorate the 10th Anniversary of the New Hall in the Pugin Rooms in 2019  The new Hall was opened just over 10 years ago.  Since then it has been widely used for various functions and activities and is a great asset to the Parish.  It is a great legacy to everyone involved in its creation.

To mark this anniversary all Parishioners are invited to the New Hall after the 11:00 Mass on Sunday 27th January 2019. If you attend one of the other Masses, please try and come along.

Free Wine, soft drinks and nibbles will be provided.

Northampton Diocese will be hosting a weekend for those men considering the Vocation to the Priesthood. This will be held at the Cathedral from Friday 14th December – Sunday 16th December. If you are interested please contact the Cathedral Parish Office on 01604 714556 or speak to Fr Mark. Please continue to pray for Vocations to the Priesthood!

NOTE CHANGE OF DATE: Mum2Mum, Friday, 7th December at 12.30 p.m.

As Christmas draws near, kids start to get excited in anticipation of all the festivities, and with the prospect of all the presents that they might receive. It is a good time to look more closely at how we can foster an attitude of gratitude in our children, helping them not take things for granted. Blanca Font will summarise and comment on the book, Making Grateful Kids, by Jeffrey Froh. All welcome. Please contact Levi at 07930743718 or for more details.

CALLING ALL READERS! Message from Marie Lou

As we start the Season of Advent, I would like to compile the rota for Christmas Readers. Please would you let me know when you would be available for reading at the Christmas Eve Mass and/or those on Christmas Day? Email is

If you could do that as soon as you get home today, it would be most helpful, and save a lot of stress!

I look forward to hearing from you, and many thanks for your Reading Ministry in the Parish. Marie Lou
