DAILY MASS   We are no longer allowed to keep our church open but Mass is celebrated in the parish each day and each day I try to make you very present in my heart as I celebrate the Eucharist.  For those of you who have booked Mass intentions for specific days, rest assured that as far as possible they will be said on the day you have requested.

STREAMING MASSES With our churches closed at present I know that many of you are looking to the internet for streamed Masses to help you in your prayer.

MAKING A DONATION

The parish has lost about  £500 per week from the collection baskets on Sundays. We have also lost all income from the Pugin rooms and the car park.

The following  address/hyperlink can be used if you wish to make a donation to the parish via our account at the Diocese.   https://northamptondiocese.org/donate/

GIVING TUESDAY   The Diocese has just  introduced a new way of making donations to the parish. All you need to do is phone 01604 712065 and make a donation to the parish. You will need a credit or debit card to hand and you will be able to make a one-off donation to cover missed Sunday offerings or simply call each week to make an offering. Patience may be needed, as only one person will be taking these calls, but if you leave details on the answer machine someone will get back to you!   ‘Giving Tuesday’ service will be available between 10am and 4pm each Tuesday.

PENTECOST ROSARY RALLY for delivery from Covid-19

The call is for each Diocese to invite parishioners to pray a rosary alone or with others sometime during the hour slot assigned to them.  Our slot is 9am - 10am on Pentecost Sunday, May 31st  (Alas the church still has to be shut.)

THE CATHOLIC HERALD becomes a monthly publication.

A print and digital subscription will cost £59.99 a yeaar which is a 30% saving off their usual rate.  A digital only subscription is £45 .  https//catholicherald.co.uk/subscribe or phone 020 7448 3607.  The publication will no longer be available in the parish

PUGIN ROOMS CLOSED

Following the government's recommendation that large groups should not congregate, the Pugins Rooms will be closed from Sunday 22nd March.

PLEASE READ THE PASTORAL LETTER FROM BISHOP DAVID

RECONCILIATION only on request as long as hygiene and social distancing requirements are observed

BAPTISMS, FIRST COMMUNIONS, FIRST RECONCILIATION MARRIAGES & CONFIRMATION are postponed until we can gather safely again

FUNERALS  The service should take place at the grave side or at the crematorium.  A memorial Mass should be offered  when congregations can gather safely again

Let us all remember that we are all still called to pray to Almighty God and to love and serve one another with great sensitivity especially in these frightening times.
