WEBINARS MONDAY Programme

We continue with different webinars on Monday evenings. Exploring the Post-Lockdown Church – week 5

How is it possible to run our sacramental programmes in current circumstances?  Can we create community online?  And are there new possibilities for catechesis that our current situation opens up?  Explore these knotty questions with Veronica Murphy from the Archdiocese of Liverpool and our own Alex Heath.  To register and see previous videos in the series, go to http://formationpathways.co.uk/exploring-the-post-lockdown-church-webinar-series/.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

COMMUNION

Please follow the Steward’s indications and come to Holy Communion, starting from the back of the Church. It is important that you leave it to the stewards to indicate when you should join the queue. Please wait until a steward indicates to you that you can step forward to take Communion. We know you are trying to be polite and helpful but it confuses things if you yourselves usher people out of their seats. Remember to maintain social distance with others. Please return to your seat via the central aisle following the one-way system. Thank you!

CONTACT DETAILS We are requested to offer to take your details upon entry, it is optional. This is so that if there were a coronavirus case, you can be contacted to know about it and to isolate. If you ticked the box to save your details, please let the stewards know your name upon entering the church. Your details are stored safely. If you would like to remove your details from the list, please ask a steward.

HAND GEL Please use hand gel at the wall units upon entering the church and upon leaving.

FACE COVERINGS With effect from 8 August 2020 everyone attending a place of worship for Mass or other services will be required to wear a face covering. We will have a supply of masks at the welcome point for those who arrive without one if wanted. Someone not wearing a mask might very well be exempt, such as children under 11, or if putting on wearing or removing a face covering causes distress.

FIRE AWARENESS The fire escape doors are indicated by green lights and are the doors to the porch, the doors to the old church, and the door to the right of the confessionals. The Fire Assembly Point is the east facing wall to the south of the new hall and is indicated by a large A on a red background.
