THE BIG MESSIAH.Marlow Choral Society (of which several St.Peter's parishioners are members) and Princes Risborough Music Society are joining forces, with soloists and a full orchestra, for a performance of Handel's 'Messiah' on Sunday 27th Nov. at 7.30pm at the Swan in High Wycombe. It is a Messiah with a BIG difference. It's Handel's ageless masterpiece, but as orchestrated by Sir EugèneGoossens in 1959, a carnival of sound with extra oboes, brass and timpani, and a galaxy of percussion.. It remains a rarity, and undoubtedly a first for Wycombe. It’s the Messiah you know and love, but with added glory. Perhaps a fitting start to the season of Advent?Tickets: £12.00 and £16.00 available from Marlow Information Office, 07976 848002 or www.wycombeswan.co.uk
