HELP WITH PUGIN ROOM LETTINGS:'Would you be willing to give a little of your time to help St Peter’s by joining the team of booking volunteers who manage inquiries about the Pugin Rooms/Church Halls. As a volunteer you would be expected to be on stand-by to respond to phone calls one week in every ten. Booking inquiries arrive via a dedicated mobile phone so that the volunteers can carry out their duties where-ever they happen to be. The phone has a voicemail function so it doesn't need to be constantly monitored. The Pugin Rooms are an important resource for the Parish and also for the wider community of Marlow and as a volunteer you would be helping to ensure that the Parish gets full value from them. If you would like to know more, please contact Paul Burden on 01628 483481 or 07768 011333.'
"Address one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with your heart!"The choir would welcome new members, including musical children and teenagers, so that we can start to learn some new anthems and part singing in time for Advent and Christmas. Ability to read music helps, but don't let this put you off. If you are interested, either speak to someone in the choir or turn up at a choir practice: 10:15-10:50 every Sunday in the old Pugin church. If you just want to make a commitment up to Christmas that is fine. Come along, you will have fun, be a channel for God's gift of song, and make some good friends.
ACTS OF THE APOSTLES A Course will be heldon the Acts of the Apostles at 8.00 pm on 18th & 25th October and 15th & 22nd of November at St Teresa's Church, Beaconsfield (behind Waitrose). It will be led by scripture scholar, Fr John Hemer MHM, who after missionary service in India and Uganda, teaches scripture at the Westminster Diocesan Seminary, Allen Hall in Chelsea. All - both Catholics and non Catholics - are welcome to join us in Beaconsfield for these lectures and each lecture is stand alone with notes available for all of the lectures.
BAPTISMS: Baptisms take place on the first Sunday of the month. Parents should telephone me to arrange to come and see me to prepare for baptism and book the date at that preparation meeting.
CAR PARK:Please note that contracted cars have been allocated the spaces numbered 1 – 23 for the hours 0700 to 1900 on weekdays. Please do not park in these bays during the specified times.
